‘Light Reflected, Colours Changing’ August 11th to September 16th
Two local artists, one space. Both left-handed! Completely different in style and medium, Geoff Raffle in oil paints and linocut, Josephine Dickinson in acrylic monoprints and painting, with some encaustic and mixed media. Both like to experiment and push the limits of colour, light, shadow, texture and form. Both are influenced by their surroundings on Alston Moor whilst reflecting wider references.
‘Inspired by Alston Moor’ June 22nd to Aug 6th
Our opening exhibition showcased over 20 local artists using various medium. It explores the inspiration drawn from living and working on Alston Moor and the nearby landscape. The talent in the area is impressive all exhibiting artists live within a 15 miles radius of Nenthead
