BUILDING WORK UPDATE
Great progress is being made inside the chapel – we’re excited to see the repaired window frames back in place, the lime plaster going on the walls and the ornate mouldings being restored. Outside the building conditions have been a little more challenging – but of course Walkers Conservation have triumphed over difficulties presented by rain, mud and poor ground. The new extension will soon be taking shape.
To the newest member of the team – Maxine Shepherd, Activity Development Officer. Her job is to develop our network of volunteers and makes links with anyone who provides workshops or other events which could run in Nenthead. Maxine is quickly getting to grips with everything we need to do and there’s plenty of it! If you have any ideas or contacts she would be delighted to hear from you.
